Safety Products

Our Single-function Safety Relays with Delayed Outputs are used in applications where power must be maintained for a fixed duration after an input signal is received. For example, driving a switch to maintain a guard door in the locked position for a fixed duration after a stop button is pressed.
Our Single-function and Specialty Relays are designed to provide basic and advanced safety functions such as time delays and speed monitoring. They are also designed to be used in specific applications such as two-hand control, muting, and the control of pressure-sensitive safety mats and edges.
Our Guardmaster® single-function safety relays are designed to meet functional safety standards, such as ISO 13849-1 or IEC 62061, and they offer key functions to simplify installation and system complexity. In addition, information gathered from the GSR intelligent safety relays via the optional EtherNet/IP Interface helps minimize unplanned downtime, increase efficiencies, and enable The Connected Enterprise. The Guardmaster Dual GuardLink Safety Relay further extends this capability to even share diagnostics and status information of safety switches and safety sensors connected in series via GuardLink
The Guardmaster® 440C-CR30 Software Configurable Safety Relay is flexible, cost-effective, and easy to use. This relay is ideal for applications requiring as many as ten dual-channel safety circuits and controlling as many as five output zones. You can configure this relay by selecting certified safety function blocks to rapidly build your applications. This relay is completely integrated with Allen-Bradley Logix controllers and can be configured using Studio 5000 Logix Designer® software or Connected Components Workbench software. The 440C-CR30 relay can share information with the control system through the optional EtherNet/IP plug in module which increases uptime and enables The Connected Enterprise.
Our Guardmaster® 442G Multifunctional Access Box is a unique combination of guard locking and access control. This integrated safeguarding solution is ideal for full body applications where guard doors require a higher holding force, a greater tolerance to guard door misalignment and a means for exiting the safeguarded area in an emergency. A choice of operator controls and other options offer flexibility to meet a variety of applications.
Our Bulletin 440P Limit Switches family offers a full range of international-style solutions for both safety and standard sensing applications. This family of limit switches are available in four different body styles: 30 mm metal, 22 mm metal and plastic, and 15 mm plastic. These switches offer a broad selection of operator types, circuit arrangements, and connection options. The 440P is ideal for a wide variety of general purpose and safety guarding applications.
Our Trapped Key Interlock Switches can be configured to ensure that a predetermined sequence of events takes place or that hazards have been reduced before operators become exposed to them.
Our Tongue Interlock Switches allow the head of the switch to rotate, offering different options on how you can operate the switch and mount it on the guard. This flexibility offers the best fit for your applications.
Our Non-contact Interlock Switches help you protect personnel and equipment. At the same time, flexibility and productivity are points that you must also consider as you design your safety system. For non-contact interlocks, no physical contact (under normal conditions) takes place between the switch and actuator.
Our Hinge Interlock Switches, when triggered, will close specific normally open (accessible) doors or guards.
Our Guard Locking Switches protect hazardous areas where a danger is not immediately removed after a stop request. On many machines, removing power to the motor or actuator will not immediately stop the dangerous motion. Typical applications are high inertia rotating machines, fast rotating machines, and machines where high pressure needs to be released from pneumatic valves.
Our Bulletin 440E Lifeline Rope Tensioner System (LRTS) is a unique cable (rope) tensioning system which enables quicker installation of cable actuated systems. The LRTS can also be used for applications other than cable actuated emergency stop systems.
Our Lifeline™ 3 Cable Pull Switches are cable (rope) operated emergency-stop devices designed to meet the stringent requirements of ISO 13850 (Safety of Machinery—Emergency Stop Equipment). The Lifeline 3 system can be installed along or around awkward machinery and provides a constant-access emergency-stop facility.
Our Lifeline™ 4 Cable Pull Switches can be installed along or around awkward machinery such as conveyors and provide a constant emergency stop access. The system includes a rope status indicator and emergency stop button mounted on the switch lid. This switch is also available in stainless steel 316 and is suitable for external use, applications where there are hygiene requirements, and other situations where a level of corrosion resistance is required.
Our Bulletin 440E Lifeline™ 5 Cable Pull Switches are microprocessor-based solutions that bring advanced features and diagnostics that help enhance safety and improve productivity. These switches offer features and functions that simplify setup and allow for more efficient maintenance and troubleshooting. Our Lifeline 5 switches are designed for various applications from general material handling to harsh food and beverage environments.
Our Bulletin 440F Safedge™ Safety Edge Profiles come in three different cushion factors and two different materials. They have no rigid internal parts that can break through or cause fatigue failures after prolonged use.
Our Bulletin 440F MatGuard™ Safety Mats are pressure-sensitive safeguarding products that we designed to detect the presence of people on the sensing surfaces. These mats have two conductive hardened steel plates that are held apart by non-conductive compressible separators. We offer standard configurable and custom mats, each with edge trim options.
Our Guardmaster™ SC300 Hand Detection Safety Sensor is a compact safety sensor system which operates based on image processing technology. The safety sensing function is performed by a single image sensing device viewing a single two-dimensional image against a passive pattern as the background. The detection principle is based on an object of a certain resolution blocking the view of the pattern from the image-sensing device.
Our SafeZone™ Safety Laser Scanners are compact devices that have switchable, configurable field sets (warning and safety). The Safety Configuration and Diagnostic (SCD) Windows®-based software, supplied with each scanner, simplifies the programming of the SafeZone Safety Laser Scanners. A configuration wizard is available to guide the programmer through simple or complex system configurations.
Our Bulletin 440L Type 4 and 445L Safe 4 Guardshield PAC Safety Light Curtains are based on the individual safety light curtain platforms and are used for whole-body detection. They are typically positioned around an area or in front of a machine process entry or exit areas. These devices are applied in applications where a formal risk assessment has determined that the hazard poses a moderate to high risk of operator injury.
Our Bulletin 445L GuardShield™ POC Type 4 Safe 4 safety light curtains are economical two-box safety light curtains with ON/OFF functionality. These basic, guard-only operating mode safety light curtains have an integrated laser alignment system to simplify the alignment of each pair of light curtains. Visible laser beams are activated by touching the laser at the finger symbol on the front face of the light curtains.
Our Bulletin 445L Guardshield™ POC Type 4 Micro 400 safety light curtains are economical three-box safety light curtains in a small housing. Designed for use in benign industrial environments (IP54), this light-duty system is targeted to the semi-conductor, micro electronic and small assembly machine markets. We also offer these light curtains in cascadable configurations and in IP69K enclosures. The Micro 400 requires a dedicated controller such as the MSR41 for ON/OFF applications or the MSR42 for advanced safety functionality.
Our Bulletin 450L GuardShield™ POC safety light curtains are unlike traditional safety light curtains, which are based on separate transmitter and receiver units. Patented technology allows each transceiver to be used as a transmitter or receiver via an innovative plug-in module. The 450L-B is the basic model with on/off functionality. The advanced 450L-E model features integrated laser alignment, cascading, blanking, and integrated muting.
